fwiw, the 330 front brakes will probably be 'enough' to stop the car just fine-the 330 rear brakes are needed if you're using the 'traction control feature' that the E46 got instead of a real limited slip diff. Guys, I know there are specifications from BMW about the minimum thickness the rotor must have etc. From experience, when you buy a new rotor it is about 2mm thicker than minimum and by the time pads are gone, there is not much left on the rotor or it is JUST below minimum.
