🎇 Gw2 How To Get Hero Points After Level 80
Intro. There is only one known way in the universe to level a mesmer without wanting to hang yourself by your toenails by level 10. They're squishy at low levels moreso than most classes, don't kill as fast or feel as powerful pre-80 (as, say, thieves or warriors) and hence are harder to level, don't outgrow that till around 50-60, and don't actually get good till you're geared up in Exotics
So I recently came back to the game after years of being away, before i quit all i did was sPVP, but this time I really would like to get into wvw…
you level by gaining xp. the first 5 skills on your bar are tied to weapons.equit in hero panel (first tab in the first tab) last 5 are utilities and can be unlocked with heropoints in the hero panel (third tab in the side bar of the hero panel) hero points are gained throug leveling and hero chalenges.
Once you reach level 80, you’ll have the opportunity to work on your elite specializations. You’ll need to obtain quite a few hero points (250 per spec) to complete these specializations or even get them to a usable state. If you’re completing the story in order, it’ll take a while for you to complete these, since core game Hero
When you have a booster, you will only get the points for the core. If you where leveling when doing so they only fill up the points until the core skils are unlocked. If you used the lvl boost on a lvl 80 you get no points because at lvl 80 you have enough to open up your core skills. With expansions you need 250 heropoints for each elite spec.
Had a level 24 Elementalist that was made 3 years ago, so with the change in Hero Points it had a bunch of stupid abilities auto-selected. But I figured if I just leveled up quickly enough, I'd get a bunch of Hero Points to fill out a different track.
Gw2's model is "horizontal progression." You don't get better after level 80, but you do get more. Others have answered on gear so I'll touch that then move on. Level 80 exotic with the right stat combo and a proper build is good enough for most content.
For example, at level 21 when you get your first Core Specialization slot and Traits to fill that Core Spec, you will have accumulated 32 Hero Points from leveling. However, it costs at least 44 Hero Points (max 60) to fill in every trait slot in a Core Specialization line, which you want to do as soon after you unlock each Core Spec as possible.
